The international symposium, co-hosted by the Nursing Health Services Research Unit and Health Outcomes for Better Information and Care (HOBIC) funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, was developed to engage clinicians and advance the nursing practice by examining health outcomes measurement and personal digital assistant (PDA) initiatives to improve patient care. The event was held at the Toronto Reference Library in downtown Toronto on September 23-24, 2010.
