Katherine Simon McGilton, RN, PhD is Research Scientist at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute; Career Scientist with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Affiliate Scientist at the Kunin-Lunenfeld Applied Research Unit, Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care Toronto; and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto. Her program of research is focused on two primary research interests: the development and application of process and outcome measures in gerontological and rehabilitation practice, and the development of intervention studies that focus on enhancing relationships between staff and clients and between staff and their supervisors.
