NOORI AKHTAR-DANESH, PhD. Dr. Akhtar-Danesh is associate professor of biostatistics at the School of Nursing and his primary research interest includes survival analysis, relative survival analysis for cancer registry datasets, multilevel modeling and longitudinal data analysis, modeling risk factors of obesity and depression, meta-analysis, Q-methodology (a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods for the study of subjectivity), and tool development. Currently, he is principal investigator or co-investigator in more than 10 funded research projects.
