Chris Thrasher RNEC PHCNP PhD is Associate Professor Faculty of Nursing, University of Windsor and a co-investigator in the NHSRU, McMaster University site. Her research, teaching, and consulting focus on NP integration, interprofessional practice and EBP. She is a co investigator of the Traffic and Road Injury Prevention Program for Canadian Children (TRIP) Research Project, funded by CIHR and Auto21. She is Principle Investigator on a point prevalence study of MRSA in Ontario nursing homes, as well as on a study on handwashing compliance in LTC. Chris is currently Chair of the Regional Infection Control Network (Erie St. Clair RICN), and Vice Chair LHIN PHC Task Group.
